• Who can Enter?

   

  • Only the bookers, administrators, coordinators, buyers or managers and the travel team/department from private or public sector companies can enter
    
  • No implants or employees of suppliers, travel management companies, hotel booking agents or any other intermediaries are eligible to enter
    
  • Those who enter must have responsibility for travel within their country or across Europe
    
  • Submissions may be made by entrants based outside Europe but who have responsibility for European travel

• How to Enter

   

  • Please ensure that you have read the Terms and Conditions of Entry (below) prior to submitting your entry/ies
  • Each category has a different Category Entry Form which can be downloaded from the Categories page. Please complete the relevant Form for each entry you submit, ensuring you have tailored the entry specifically to the category.
    
  • Return to the website and complete your details on the Submit an Entry page, before selecting the first category you wish to enter. You will then be asked to complete a category specific page with the entry details, and upload the relevant Category Entry Form.
    
  • At this stage you will also be asked to upload:
    
    • Any supporting material stipulated on the Category Entry Form* - up to two files
      
    • Company logo (as an illustrator EPS or a JPEG of at least 300 DPI).

  Please note that if shortlisted, this logo will be used to represent the entry at the Awards ceremony and in any supporting materials for the Awards, such as in the Book of the Night.
  
  

  • On completion of the entry process for each entry you will receive an email confirming that we have received your entry: please note the 4 digit reference number which will appear on this confirmation email, for use on any further correspondence.

  *Supporting material: Supplementary materials  (e.g. Word, PDF or PowerPoint documents) may be uploaded or sent to Lucy Jones, Event Co-ordinator, European Travel Buyer Awards 2012, c/o Centaur Events, St Giles House, 50 Poland Street, London W1F 7AX – marked with your unique entry reference number which will be emailed to you on completion of the online entry process.
  
  

  • These entry forms will be made available to the judges, along with any supporting material submitted
    
  • Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 6th February 2012

  • The European Travel Buyer Awards are FREE to enter

• Entry Tips

   

  • Judges will be looking for consise written entries with relevant supporting information. We recommend that you stay within the word limit (as indicated on each category entry form, using bullet points if necessary).

  • Please ensure that you read the How to Enter (above) and the Terms & Conditions of Entry  (below) sections before completing the relevant Category Entry Form/s.
    
  • Once completed, the Category Entry Form/s should be uploaded during the online entry process.
    
  • If you are entering multiple categories please complete the relevant form for each, ensuring that you have tailored the entry specifically to each category.
    
  • Please ensure you pay particular attention to all compulsory questions, in order for your entry to be accepted for judging.
    

• How will the entries be judged?

   

  • All entries will be viewed by the judging panel.
    
  • Entries which have not been correctly submitted will be rejected. 
    
  • The judging panel will meet in late November 2011.
    

• Terms & Conditions of Entry

   

  • Answers given by nominees should be specific and detailed; in particular, details of return on investment should be provided
    
  • The judges may make random checks to validate entries and may require nominees to answer specific additional questions
    
  • Awards will be made solely at the discretion of the judging panel; no feedback or correspondence will be entered into
    
  • We reserve the right to amend the rules during the judging process if the chairman of judges deems it necessary. In exceptional circumstances, where new information emerges about an entry after the judging process, the chairman of the judges has the power to revise the decision
    
  • Any entry may be withdrawn for any reason up until 5.30pm on Friday 7th October 2011 upon written request to the organisers
    

• Commercial Confidence

   

  • For the purposes of judging, all information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence and will only be viewed by the judging panel and the chairman of judges. However, information supplied  on the Entry Forms or as supporting material may be used in order to compile the script and the 'Book of the Night' Awards supplement, should the nominee be short listed

  • Any information that is commercially sensitive and not to be made public should be made clear  on the Entry Forms or marked 'Confidential' - only the judges will see these details
