Best CSR Initiative in a Travel Programme
Elaine Winterbottom
Head of Strategy, Property and Facilities
Eversheds

Elaine was praised for her initiatives both on CO2 and BCP and her holistic approach to CSR including, for example, traveller safety, evacuation plans and risk assessment tools. All of these elements are embedded throughout the process of travel and meetings management, rather than appearing as ad hoc add ons. Duty of Care is recognised and addressed, providing an information source rather than just traveller tracking, and in doing so achieving significant traveller awareness. Through a clear mandate and framework for delivery our Elaine showed a true appreciation of what CSR means in the business travel space.
